Saddle up for adventure

Welcome

"At Home on the Range in the Wild West",  is a blog about life from my perspective way out west in high desert country.

About Me

I'd like to describe myself as, "seasoned with salt".....and willing to share some of what I have experienced in life to help those who are following behind, not to stay in the past, but to better equip each other to keep pressing on. Come join me for some fun, enjoyment and adventure in Wild West living.

 Adventure

Living 40 miles from the nearest town, you need to be resourceful. You can't just jump in the car and "be back in a few minutes" or walk across the street to the market and purchase the items you need to whip up that new recipe that you found and maybe not all the items are in the budget. I've learned to do substituting and creative ways to cook, sew and decorate my home using fun everyday and recycled items to add a personal touch and you can too!
Look forward to being in the saddle with you as we ride along together in this beautiful land of sage brush, juniper, aspen & pine trees and see what we can discover.
